It is the latest addition to the Hawksmoor group, which has been Britain''s most celebrated steak restaurant company since Will Beckett and Huw Gott opened the first branch in Spitalfields in 2006. St Pancras International — the Victorian Gothic masterpiece designed by George Gilbert Scott and home to the Eurostar terminal — provides one of the most spectacular settings in London. Hawksmoor''s signature dry-aged British beef, long drinks list and strong cocktail programme are served in this extraordinary station hotel, within the same building as the iconic Chambers Bar that features in the Spice Girls' Wannabe video.

Michael Nadra at 42 Gloucester Avenue in Primrose Hill NW1 is a modern European brasserie tucked away by the Regent''s Canal in one of London''s most beautiful residential neighbourhoods. Hardens praises it warmly: "beautifully presented and great-tasting food" with "attentive service", noting that Michael Nadra is a very good chef who — unlike at many restaurants with a well-known chef — is actually there cooking. Menu highlights include crab and salmon ceviche, duck, sea bass, turkey and black cod; sticky toffee pudding and treacle tart to finish. Week-night specials offer good value. The canal setting adds to the occasion. Primrose Hill''s pastel terraces around Chalcot Square are some of the most photographed streets in London; the brasserie serves the affluent creative community that lives here.

Pick and Cheese at Unit 93-94 Chalk Farm Road in Camden Market is the second location of the cheese conveyor belt restaurant that originated in Seven Dials. Hot Dinners featured its Camden opening in 2025: what was formerly The Cheese Bar has been transformed into Pick and Cheese, where artisan cheeses travel the length of an 18-metre conveyor belt allowing diners to pick their plates as they pass. The dishes are creative and sometimes eccentric: Cornish gouda with clotted cream fudge; Cropwell Bishop stilton with kimchi; Spenwood pecorino-style cheese with romesco. The cheese market also operates alongside the restaurant. Camden Market has drawn visitors since it opened in 1974 and now sees some 28 million visitors annually; Pick and Cheese is one of the market''s most distinctive food experiences.

Roger''s Kitchen on Camden Road in NW1 is the restaurant of Roger Shakes, who won Best Restaurant at the inaugural UK Caribbean Food Awards. Roger came to London from Westmoreland, Jamaica in 1999. His first restaurant job was washing plates; he went on to become head chef at Camden''s legendary Mango Room, which was frequented by Prince, LL Cool J and Samuel L Jackson before it closed. At Roger''s Kitchen he cooks traditional Jamaican and Caribbean dishes: curried goat, jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish, vegan curry, plantain with ackee and avocado and spinach. Time Out has reviewed and praised the restaurant. The Caribbean food tradition in Camden goes back decades; Roger''s Kitchen represents its highest expression.

Three Uncles in Hawley Wharf Foodhall in Camden NW1 serves Hong Kong-style roast meat. The restaurant was set up by three childhood friends whose concept is an ode to memories of visiting roast meat cafes in 1970s Hong Kong. Having started with a stall in the City, they progressed to the Hawley Wharf Foodhall where their chopped-to-order roast duck, crispy pork belly and char siu pork are cooked using traditional Cantonese methods. Hardens singles them out as one of the best things in the Camden Foodhall, praising the char siu pork in particular. Time Out and Hot Dinners have both reviewed and praised the restaurant. The three-childhood-friends origin story gives the restaurant its warmth; the quality of the Cantonese roasting gives it its reputation.
