Moghul Tandoori

The Moghul is one of Sidcup's longest-established Indian dining rooms, opened on Main Road in 1985 and refurbished and expanded in August 2015 into a larger, more contemporary space that now seats over a hundred. The room sits on the stretch of Main Road between central Sidcup and the Foots Cray roundabout, surrounded by the residential streets of Marechal Niel Avenue and Sherwood Park, and trades a busy sit-down dinner alongside collection and delivery. The Tripadvisor page sits in the top quartile of Sidcup restaurants on aggregate, and the kitchen markets itself plainly as "Authentic Indian Restaurant".

The menu is the established North Indian and Bangladeshi British curry-house repertoire — chicken tikka masala, lamb rogan josh, king prawn pathia, vegetable jalfrezi, biryani plates and a long tandoori starters section — with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options explicitly flagged across the listings. Mixed grills, lamb shashlik and king prawn tandoori sit at the more expensive end. The dining room is fully licensed, takes reservations for groups and runs an in-house delivery service across central Sidcup, Foots Cray, Halfway Street and the lower edges of Bexley.
