Bengal Tandoori

Bengal Tandoori has been the established curry kitchen on the Maidstone Road stretch in Sidcup for around two decades, sitting a short walk from Albany Park railway station and the residential streets that run north towards the A20. It is a delivery-and-collection operation rather than a dining room — the shopfront is largely a counter — and the kitchen runs the recognisable Bangladeshi-British curry-house repertoire from a tandoor at the back.

The menu lists the expected starters of onion bhaji, sheek kebab, prawn puri and chicken chat alongside a broad tandoori section, masala, pasanda, balti, biryani, thali and pathia dishes, with a vegetable side covering bhindi bhaji, sag aloo, tarka dal and bombay aloo. Set meals priced for two diners are the routine weekday order, and the kitchen will adjust the heat across the standard korma-bhuna-madras-vindaloo gradient. Delivery covers Sidcup, Albany Park, New Eltham, Bexley and the outer edges of Mottingham; collection orders are usually ready inside twenty minutes. The shop is closed on Tuesdays — a long-standing rest day reflected on the official site and the food-ordering platforms. Card and cash accepted.
