Little Bangla

Little Bangla is an Indian and Bangladeshi takeaway on Common Road in Church Gresley, the village that runs south of Swadlincote town centre into Castle Gresley along the old Burton Road. It runs as a phone-and-collect curry shop with delivery into the surrounding Gresley and Swadlincote estates, evening only.

The kitchen leans Bengali — the shop name and the menu both signal that — running tandoori grill starters, balti, bhuna, dansak, jalfrezi and biryani mid-range, korma and pasanda at the milder end, and a small set of Bangladeshi chef's-specials that are usually the dishes the experienced cooks at this style of shop are proudest of.
