Red Luck

Red Luck is the long-running Chinese takeaway on Park Road in Conisbrough, set back from the main run down toward the castle and the river. The shop has also traded under the name New Dragon House in earlier years, and the unit holds a five-out-of-five Food Standards Agency hygiene score from its 2023 inspection. The kitchen runs the standard British-Chinese list — sweet-and-sour and black-bean sauces, salt-and-pepper variations, beef and chicken curry, chow-mein and fried-rice combinations, and a chip-shop crossover side of southern-fried chicken and chips.

Delivery is run in-house out across the surrounding South Yorkshire delivery area, which pulls in custom from the Denaby Main and Edlington side as well as Conisbrough itself and over toward the Rotherham boundary at Maltby. The shop is kept halal — useful in a town with no shortage of Chinese options but a smaller halal market — and the trade is collection and delivery only.
