Llewellyn's at 293-295 Railton Road in Herne Hill SE24 is a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant that is the go-to special occasion destination for the local community. Exec chef Lasse Petersen began his professional life as the drummer in post-punk band The Rakes before finding his calling in cooking. The restaurant occupies an attractive glass-fronted site opposite Herne Hill station, with al fresco tables on the pavement in summer. The menu is refined Mediterranean, with dishes that change seasonally. The adjacent Lulu's deli — also belonging to the Llewellyn's group — was spotted in the 2024 film We Live In Time, starring Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield.
