About Qasioun Lebanese Restaurant

Qasioun takes its name from Mount Qasioun — the great mountain overlooking Damascus from whose slopes, according to tradition, Cain killed Abel, and where the city's minarets glow at night. The owners named their Grange Road restaurant with aspirations to match: traditional home-style Lebanese and Mediterranean cooking that aims to delight. With 4.5 stars across 1,578 reviews, it appears to be working. The 70-dish menu covers the full Lebanese repertoire: hummus, moutabal, tabbouleh, fattoush, warak inab (vine leaves), batata harra, lentil soup, kibbeh with pine kernels and spiced minced lamb, sea bass deep-fried or grilled with tarator sauce, and a charcoal grill producing lamb kofta, mixed grill, and whole baby chicken. Reviewers consistently praise the tender lamb, value for money and the quality of the homemade hummus and baklava. Open Monday to Saturday noon to 11pm. Closed Sundays.

Dine-in and takeaway on Grange Road SE1. Delivery across SE1, SE11, SE16, SE17 and EC postcodes. Order at qasioun.co.uk.
