Agora at 10 Stoney Street in Borough Market SE1 occupies the ground floor below Oma, the two forming David Carter's "twin-pack of blockbusting Borough Market openings" of 2024 (Evening Standard). Agora opened in March 2024. Agora means market in Greek — apt for a restaurant inside one of the world's great markets. Hardens describes it as "almost illegally fun" with "Greek-Turkish fusion cuisine that is always good." The concept is bar-forward with walk-in skewer eating on street-level bar stools; the food is more casual than the restaurant above. Jimi Famurewa praised the "surprising and utterly scintillating" cooking across both floors. Borough Market has traded on this site since 1014.
