Lamezia

Lamezia is a traditional Italian family restaurant at 165 Holloway Road, established in 2009 and one of the most consistently praised restaurants in N7. Olive Magazine voted it "most progressive Italian food in the British Isles" and Little London magazine awarded it "Best Kids Menu." Thatsup.co.uk's January 2026 guide to Holloway Road restaurants calls it "a family-run Italian restaurant popular with locals for good reason -- pasta, bread and pizza dough are made in-house daily." The kitchen starts early each morning baking sourdough bread and focaccia alongside handmade pasta. Pizza dough is fermented for 72 hours to achieve a uniquely light texture and is then cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven in the Calabrian style. The wine list focuses on carefully selected Italian bottles at competitive prices. A kids' menu makes it an excellent choice for families. Wednesday Pizza Night offers 20% off all pizzas from 5-10pm.
