India Grill is a much-loved Bengali and Indian restaurant and takeaway on Bowes Road, directly opposite Arnos Grove tube station. Halal certified, with a popular BYO policy (no corkage charge ever), it is one of the most warmly reviewed restaurants in N11. TripAdvisor reviewers consistently praise the quality: "Consistently delicious food and friendly service -- this is the best local restaurant by far." A visitor from the nearby Premier Inn wrote: "Great service and delicious fresh tasting food -- I highly recommend visiting India Grill if you are in the area." The kitchen is led by a chef with a particular passion for Bengali fish dishes: the mild Bengali fish curry is made with spinach, honey, cream and dill; the Hossain Special Fish features ginger, ground coconut, honey and green chilli. Chef specials include Lemon Chana Chicken, North Bengal Garlic Chilli Masala, mutton Sylheti Naga and Keema Spinach Aloo. Sunday buffet available (eat as much as you like; all Halal).
