Shri Bheemas Indian Restaurant

Shri Bheema's on Nicolson Street is one of the longer-standing Indian restaurants in the University of Edinburgh's neighbourhood, occupying a spot on the busy commercial section of Nicolson Street between South Bridge and West Nicolson Street. The restaurant is part of a small Scottish chain that also trades in Aberdeen, and the Edinburgh room has operated at this address for a number of years. The menu covers a broad range of north Indian dishes — tandoori grills, curries, biryanis, baltis and a vegetarian section — in a sit-down licensed dining room. The Nicolson Street site sits in the heart of the student-tourist overlap zone, close to the Festival Theatre and the University's Old College.
