Pure Taste Indian

Pure Taste Indian is an Indian and Bangladeshi takeaway on the Pleasance, the historic street running south from the Cowgate through St Leonards into the residential area below Salisbury Crags. The Pleasance is best known during August as the home of the Pleasance Theatre, one of the Fringe's principal venues, but for the rest of the year it is a quiet residential and student street. The menu covers a wide range of Bengali-inflected Indian dishes: curries, biryanis, tandoori grills, and a selection of balti and karahi preparations alongside vegetarian options.
