About Victoria Fish And Chips
Victoria Fish and Chips is a long-standing chippy on Victoria Street West, sitting on the same Top Town parade as Caspers and a clutch of other late-trading Grimsby food shops. The original Victoria Fish & Chips Ltd company was dissolved in 2015, and the shop has since traded under different operators — most recently absorbed into Stomp Services, a small local group that runs several Grimsby food businesses. That continuity of operator has kept the shop on the same Just Eat and Deliveroo listings under the Victoria Fish & Chips name for delivery as well as the over-the-counter trade.
The offer is the standard town-centre chippy menu — battered cod and haddock, sausages, pies and the usual fishcakes and scampi, with mushy peas, curry sauce and gravy on the side, plus a pizza and burger list that nods to the fact this is a town-centre late-night shop. Reviews are mixed in the way that high-volume town-centre fish shops often are: praise for the fish itself when it is fresh and well cooked, gripes when service is busy. The shop has also done community work — most notably stepping in to keep the Grimsby Food Kitchen running during a fryer breakdown.
