Lucky Dragon

Lucky Dragon is the Chinese takeaway at the western end of the Cambridge Road parade, sitting alongside Margherita's Pizzeria on a short residential row on the Wybers Wood edge of Grimsby. It is one of the better-rated Chinese takeaways in this part of town: the shop carries a Very Good food hygiene rating from its 2023 inspection, and TripAdvisor reviews repeatedly tag the kitchen for the quality of its crispy shredded chilli beef and crispy aromatic duck pancakes.

The board runs the standard Anglo-Cantonese template across set meals and à la carte — chow mein, satay, sweet and sour, salt and chilli, curry, set meals for two and three — with a couple of the more specific dishes (the chilli beef, the duck) given a stronger lean than at the parade-takeaway average. Home delivery covers a roughly three-mile radius from the shop, which is wider than the typical Grimsby Chinese local-delivery zone.

Opening is evening-only and runs through the week with a slightly later weekend close. Trade pulls from the Wybers Wood and Little Coates residential streets and from the walk-in collection that the Cambridge Road parade generates between pubs and the surrounding housing.
