Crazy Wendy's on Burton Road is one of West Didsbury's most characterful dining spots, combining authentic Thai cooking with an exuberant atmosphere courtesy of the proprietor herself. Massaman chicken curry and pad thai have been highlighted repeatedly in reviews as stand-out dishes, while the chicken and pork stir-fry dishes draw praise for their clean, fresh flavours. On Friday and Saturday evenings the restaurant takes on a cabaret flavour, with Wendy entertaining guests through songs from Shirley Bassey and Elvis. Deliveroo and OpenTable bookings both available.
