India Quay

India Quay has occupied its riverside spot on Finnieston Street since 2005, overlooking the Clyde and with the Bells Bridge and the Squinty Bridge visible from the dining room. It is a family-owned contemporary Indian restaurant whose stark black-and-white interior is punctuated by flashes of colour and decorative detail. The menu ranges across regional Indian cooking: tandoori salmon, a South Indian garlic chilli chicken and a Kashmiri chicken feature among the more distinctive options alongside the standard tandoori and curry range. The proximity to the SECC and the Clyde Auditorium brings a pre-concert crowd on event nights, and the restaurant recommends booking ahead, particularly at weekends. The Clyde views alone set it apart from the city-centre competition.
