Marceline

Marceline is a French brasserie that opened in 2024 on a floating dock at Wood Wharf in Canary Wharf -- one of the most talked-about new restaurant openings in East London. Ideal Magazine describes it as floating "elegantly on the waters of Wood Wharf like some Art Deco fever dream," with an interior that is "a masterclass in modern brasserie design" of walnut wood, burnt orange leather and floor-to-ceiling windows framing the dock. Luxury London and The Nudge both list it among the very best restaurants in Canary Wharf.

The menu is rooted in Gallic brasserie tradition: steak frites (onglet at £19 with béarnaise and crisp fries), Dover sole grenobloise, moules mariniere and classic French desserts. The wine list is curated by Jeffrey Koren, formerly head sommelier at the three Michelin-starred Maaemo in Norway.
