Village Tandoori

Village Tandoori on Old Luss Road has been serving Helensburgh with traditional authentic Indian food since 1984, making it one of the longest-established curry houses in Argyll and Bute. The kitchen focuses on the North Indian menu — tandoori dishes, baltis, karahi specials and freshly made breads — with the emphasis on consistency and authenticity over trend-chasing. Old Luss Road is a residential address in the western part of Helensburgh, close to the seafront promenade on the Firth of Clyde where the Victorian resort character of the town is most apparent. The Luss Road name reflects the route toward Loch Lomond's western shore — a reminder that Helensburgh is as much a gateway to the national park as it is a commuter town.
