Seimo Seito

Seimo Seito (also written Siemo Sieto on its own signage and Facebook page) is one of Lockerbie's busier independent fast-food shops, occupying a spot on the High Street in the town centre. It's a multi-cuisine takeaway working across pizza, kebabs, burgers and a smaller curry list — the model a lot of Scottish small-town shops settle on when there isn't enough trade for a single-cuisine specialist.

The pizza side is the part most often called out in reviews — hand-rolled bases, fresh toppings to order, garlic bread and dips on the side. Doner and shish kebab cover the Turkish-grill end of the menu, with chips and pakora, burgers and wraps filling out the rest. Lockerbie is a thin late-night market and Seimo Seito is one of the shops that keeps the lights on into the evening, which counts for a town on the M74 with steady passing trade and shift-workers.
