About Curry Corner
Curry Corner trades from a small unit on Station Road in Lockerbie, the Annandale market town the wider world knows for the 1988 Pan Am 103 air-disaster memorial. The shop is one of a small handful of Indian takeaways operating in the town and sits within easy walk of the railway station and the central High Street.
The menu is a standard British-Indian list — tikka and bhuna mains, jalfrezi, korma, balti, biryani and tandoori-grill starters — alongside a smaller pizza offering on the side, which is common in single-shop rural takeaways where one kitchen has to cover several cuisines. Pakora and onion bhaji feature on the starters, and rice and naan are made to order rather than held.
Service is delivery and collection rather than dine-in, and most orders come through the phone or online order pages. Reviews are mixed and the shop sits mid-pack in the small Lockerbie takeaway field rather than at the top of it, but it is a long-standing local option for an evening curry without driving out toward Dumfries or Annan.
