Zhen Garden is the Chinese takeaway on Derby Road in Kegworth, the small Leicestershire village that sits at the southern edge of the East Midlands Airport flight path. It picks up the central village evening trade and has held the site for years, succeeding the older Maxim Chinese name on the same parade.

The board is the recognisable British-Cantonese list with starters, side portions, chop suey, sweet-and-sour, curry, mushroom, satay and chow mein options, alongside the standard set-meal arithmetic for a family-of-four order. Trading is evenings only with Wednesday closed for the kitchen's night off (the shop reopens on bank-holiday Wednesdays) and a five-to-eleven shift the rest of the week. The Kegworth Chinese scene has Zhen Garden on one side of Derby Road and the longer-trading Diamond City on the other, with both kitchens holding their share of the village trade for years.
