Dragon Court is the long-running Chinese takeaway on High Street in Repton, the historic Anglo-Saxon village south of Derby that gives its name to the public school sitting at the centre of it. The board is unfussy Cantonese with a vegetarian section that regular reviewers single out as broader than the village-takeaway norm. It is collection and short-radius delivery — there is no dine-in. The shop has built a loyal regular base over many years, with Restaurantji and Tripadvisor comments emphasising friendly service and reliable cooking rather than chasing fashionable dishes. Trading is evenings only, with Mondays closed and a slightly earlier Sunday close — a one-family-kitchen rhythm. The Repton site picks up the Willington and Findern villages on the other side of the river as part of its delivery radius. The kitchen holds a published food-hygiene record with South Derbyshire District Council. Repton itself is not over-supplied with Chinese options — the Willington shop a couple of miles west is the nearest equivalent — so Dragon Court effectively owns this part of the village evening trade.
