Golden Valley Chinese Takeaway

Golden Valley is a small Chinese takeaway on Town Street in Duffield, on the main parade that runs through the affluent village south of Belper. It is one of two Chinese options in the village alongside the long-running Royal Gardens on New Zealand Lane, and works the standard Cantonese-British takeaway list — set dinners, house specials, chow mein, sweet and sour, curry, chop suey, and the usual run of crispy starters.

Online review presence for the shop is thin — most of the trade is local custom rather than reviewed visits — but the shop has been part of the Town Street parade for years and works the same evening trade as the rest of the village's small group of takeaways. Pricing is in line with the rest of the Duffield Chinese range.

Collection and delivery, evenings only. It is one of the steadier neighbourhood options for households across Duffield, Little Eaton and the south end of the Amber Valley before the road climbs up into Allestree and Derby.
