About Kohe Noor
Kohe Noor is the Indian takeaway on the small Beauly Avenue parade in Downfield, north Dundee, sharing the row with Iannarllie's and serving as the local Indian option for the surrounding housing scheme closes. The unit has been an Indian and balti house under successive names for years — Tandoori Junction sits in the older listings on the same site — and the current Kohe Noor operation runs a broad Punjabi-style menu alongside a chip-shop sideline of suppers, pies and burgers.
The menu covers the standard run of balti dishes, biryani sets, kormas, madras and tandoori specialities from the clay oven, with the South Indian garlic chilli and the balti bhuna picked out by reviewers as house specials. A separate sideline of kebabs, pizzas and European-style burgers sits alongside for the late-evening trade. Reviews on Just Eat and Uber Eats describe consistent food and prompt delivery, and the shop trades both collection and a delivery feed that covers Downfield, Kirkton and the Strathmartine corridor back toward the inner residential streets. For DD3 households on this side of the scheme, Kohe Noor is the default Indian carry-out.
