Indos

Indos is one of the Ferry's busier Indian operators, sitting on the main Brook Street parade at the central end of Broughty Ferry. The room was refurbished in recent years into a calmer, warmer interior — described on the restaurant's own material as a classic look in warm tones — and the kitchen runs an Indo-Bengal-leaning menu alongside the standard British-Indian template, with a steady run of biryanis and tandoori grills. It trades primarily as an evening sit-in restaurant, with takeaway and delivery running through the restaurant's own ordering system and the usual aggregators. The shop has built up a substantial repeat trade in the suburb and is one of the names locals consistently mention when asked which of the Ferry's Indian operators they prefer for delivery. It sits a few doors along Brook Street from Khan Tandoori and the Peking Cottage Chinese, and draws its trade primarily from the residential streets either side of Brook Street and across to King Street.
