Shake It at North Lane in Headingley is one of Leeds's best-known milkshake bars, originally from Otley and described by TimeOut in 2015 as one of the top five milkshake spots in the city. The menu runs to over 200 milkshake variations built around chocolate bars, cakes, cereals, sweets, and fruit, with unusual additions like chilli powder and popping candy available for adventurous customers. Sundaes, smoothies, fro-yo, and waffles extend the dessert range. Late-night milkshake delivery makes it useful for the student community in the surrounding streets.
