Samis Moroccan Restaurant

Sami's on Harrogate Road is one of the few Moroccan restaurants serving north Leeds, offering a menu of tagines, couscous and wood-oven pizzas in a spacious, BYOB-friendly dining room that also handles private parties. Lamb tagine with apricots and prunes, fish tagine and a range of meat and vegetable couscous dishes are the kitchen's heartland. The pizzas are cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven, giving them a different character from the standard takeaway variety. Sami's has been trading in Chapel Allerton for fifteen years, and the combination of North African cooking with Italian-style pizza makes it one of the more unusual food offers in Chapel Allerton.
