Charlie Chans at Queens Road has been one of the better-known Chinese and Thai takeaways on Hyde Park's main food strip. The menu runs the full Cantonese range — crispy aromatic duck (available in quarter, half, or whole), salt and pepper dishes covering chicken, squid, lamb, and king prawns, XO sauce preparations, and a comprehensive set-dinner menu for groups. Thai curries — yellow, green, red, and Massaman — are available at mild, medium, or hot, with Thai chow mein and fried rice completing the South-East Asian section.
