Thornes (trading as Thornes Best Kebab and TBK Pizzas) takes a small Finkle Court unit a short walk off Thorne's main shopping streets, working the village late-evening kebab-and-pizza market alongside the Spice Hut Indian a few doors away on the same Finkle Court parade. The kitchen runs the standard Yorkshire-village-takeaway list — donner and shish kebabs in pittas and trays, pizzas in the takeaway sizes with the familiar topping list, beef and chicken burgers in meal combinations, garlic breads and the loaded-chip and fried-chicken sides that fill the late-evening collection board. The Finkle Court parade has settled into a small dense cluster of food units — the Spice Hut, TBK Pizzas and Thornes Best Kebab all share the same address — which gives the corner a useful concentration of takeaway choice for residents on the village's south-west side, away from the Marshland Road parade in Moorends and the central King Street row.
