The Baxtergate position puts the shop on the pedestrianised shopping run that connects Sir Nigel Gresley Square to the Frenchgate side of the town centre, giving it a steady weekday lunchtime trade from the surrounding office and retail catchment. The branch holds the standard five-star FSA food hygiene rating, takes delivery orders through Uber Eats and Just Eat alongside walk-in trade, and trades on a daytime-and-early-evening pattern rather than the late-night format the Silver Street pizza-and-kebab parade runs. A second Subway branch operates inside Doncaster Royal Infirmary further out.
