About Mings Court
Ming's Court takes the small parade unit on Grange Lane in New Rossington and trades as a counter-only Chinese takeaway — no dine-in, no delivery van of its own, collection-and-platform orders only. The shop has rebranded operationally as Chef Chen on its current ordering site but continues to trade from the same Grange Lane address that Ming's Court has occupied for years, sitting a short walk from Jade Garden and giving the village two Chinese options on the same parade. The menu is the broad Cantonese list — salt-and-pepper, sweet-and-sour, black-bean and satay variations, chow mein and chop suey in the usual meats, curries over rice or chips, set meals for one and for sharing, plus the chip-shop sides that village Chinese kitchens have absorbed. Tuesdays are dark; the remaining six days run an evening-only window. Reviewer comments on TripAdvisor and Restaurantji are mixed — some regulars rate the value of the set meals and the speed of the kitchen, others find the cooking inconsistent — which is broadly what a second Chinese on the same village parade tends to attract.
