Hot Stuff

Hot Stuff is a multi-cuisine takeaway on Lazarus Court off Bradford Row in central Doncaster, working an unusually broad board that pulls together Indian, pizza and southern-fried-chicken sections under the same kitchen. The Indian range is the centrepiece — traditional curries across the regional set, balti and biryani sections, the standard speciality dishes — with the kitchen working halal-certified meat. Pizzas, calzones, garlic bread, burgers and wraps fill out the rest of the board to bring the shop into competition with the wider central Doncaster takeaway field.

The shop holds a five-star FSA food hygiene rating awarded in October 2024, and trades from the Lazarus Court parade just off the busier Hallgate end of the town centre. The unusual menu breadth — Indian curries delivered with the same speed as a chicken-and-chips order — gives the shop a different angle from the dedicated curry-houses on Copley Road or the chicken-only operators on Cleveland Street, and the format works particularly well for mixed-group ordering.
