BiBi at 42 North Audley Street in Mayfair W1 is a modern Indian restaurant from chef Chet Sharma, former development chef at JKS Restaurants (Gymkhana, Trishna, Brigadiers). The Infatuation gives it a strong review, describing BiBi as "small but significant, with a set menu of incredibly designed Indian dishes" — calling out the raw Devon scallop in a tangy lemonade dressing and grilled chicken in a cashew and yoghurt whey sauce. The name BiBi means grandmother in several South Asian languages, and the restaurant's ethos centres on the matriarchs of the Indian kitchen, the women who have always cooked with intuition and care rather than ego.
