Bamboo Garden

Bamboo Garden is a family-run Chinese takeaway on Guildford Park Road, close to the University of Surrey's Stag Hill campus. The menu includes some less-expected items alongside the standard Cantonese range: house-made pork belly with chow mein and crispy duck rolls have been highlighted in positive customer reviews alongside the more familiar dishes. The kitchen closes on Mondays and opens Tuesday to Sunday from early evening, with delivery available via Deliveroo. A food hygiene inspection in October 2023 flagged areas for improvement, which the kitchen has had time to address since. Guildford Park Road sits between the university and the city centre, within easy reach of a large student and academic population as well as the mature residential streets of the Park Barn and Onslow Village areas to the west.
