About Munchies
Munchies has been part of Aldeburgh High Street since 2002, when owner Susie Medland founded what has become one of the town's most community-embedded food businesses. The offer centres on freshly made sandwiches, toasties, panini, breakfast baps, sausage rolls and daily-changing hot pots and soups — much of it gluten-free and with vegan and dairy-free options as standard. A Google rating of 4.3 reflects the loyalty of a clientele that Susie knows by name. Munchies sits on the High Street that runs between Aldeburgh beach and the festival town's famous independent shops, a short walk from Maggi Hambling's Scallop sculpture on the shingle and a few minutes from Snape Maltings on the Alde estuary.
