Whole sections here are named after a sauce rather than a meat. Kung Po, Peking, Szechuan, Shanghai, Malaysian curry, Sambat and salt and pepper each get their own heading, and each runs the same way through chicken, beef, roast pork, roast duck, king prawn and a mixed special, which makes the menu easy to navigate by flavour and heat instead of by protein. The dim sum tucked into the chef's recommendations deserves attention: Sui Mei, Har Kar, char sui buns, chicken buns and milk custard buns, alongside mussels in Szechuan or black bean sauce. A large snacks section is given over entirely to rice-and-chips combinations, with boiled or fried rice, chips, or both together, in small or large, dressed with curry, barbecue or sweet and sour. There is also a Japanese noodle range, a set of house Raffle specials, and an omelette-based European list that stretches to Chicken Maryland.
