Broadway Spice Balti Takeaway Menu

True to the name, the chef's page is nothing but balti - more than twenty of them, from plain chicken and vegetable up through keema, paneer, chana, shashlik and a Tandoori Special that combines chicken with king prawn. The Broadway Special list is where the kitchen's own cooking sits: Naga Chicken, Jaipuri Chicken, Chicken Anarkali, Chicken Maska, Modhu Minty, Lahore Special, Rezala and a Cheese and Onion Bahar. Two further sections narrow to a single sauce each, morich masala and bhuna masala, both built mainly on tandoori-cooked meat. Then the menu takes a couple of unexpected turns. There is a short Oriental page - sweet and sour chicken, chicken balls, king prawn balls. There is a fast-food page where doner meat is finished peri-peri or naga and served with fries or naan, alongside munch, value and mega boxes and cod and chips. Naan breads number more than twenty on their own, and dessert is Ben & Jerry's.
