Sweet Retreat

Sweet Retreat is Burton-upon-Trent's long-running dessert diner on Derby Street, a short walk from the Cooper's Square side of the town centre. It runs as both a 40-seat eat-in parlour and a home-delivery service, trading right across the week — the kind of place that fills up after a curry at the Branston Road end of town when a family wants a sundae rather than another pint.
