About Pure Indian Cooking
Pure Indian Cooking in Fulham SW6 is one of South West London's most critically acclaimed Indian restaurants. Chef-patron Shilpa Dandekar trained with the Taj Group in Mumbai, worked as sous chef at the Michelin-starred Quilon in Westminster, and was appointed head chef by Raymond Blanc at Brasserie Blanc before opening Pure in 2015 with her husband Faheem Vanoo, who manages front of house. The Infatuation calls it the best Indian food in Fulham. Hardens recommends the black dhal above all else. The menu moves between classics and inventive territory: venison masala, fried crab and kokum, curried mussels, a goat's cheese samosa. Square Meal described it as first-rate Indian cooking behind a deceptively ordinary exterior. 4.7 on TripAdvisor from 301 reviews.
