TheFork rates it 9.6/10 (February 2025). Named for the Georgian word meaning Georgian, it was founded by Georgian and British friends. The Infatuation recommends tashmijabi (potato and cheese dish) to start, megruli kharcho (chicken stew from the Megrelia region) as a main, and chvishtari (cornbread) for extra carbs. The wine list draws from Taste of Georgia — a specialist Georgian wine importer — with rare amber wines made by ancient qvevri clay-pot methods. The restaurant occupies the former David Greig butcher's premises on Lordship Lane, East Dulwich's celebrated independent food street.
