About Goddards at Greenwich
Goddards at Greenwich on King William Walk in SE10 is one of London's most famous pie and mash shops. Harry Goddard opened the original establishment in 1890 and the business has been in the same family ever since — over 135 years of continuous trading. The shop serves traditional London pie and mash: minced beef pies in hot water crust pastry, creamy mashed potato, and liquor — the famous green parsley sauce that has no counterpart anywhere else in British cooking. Goddards is opposite the entrance to Greenwich Park and a short walk from the Cutty Sark clipper ship (launched 1869). It is one of the most visited destinations in SE10.
Available for eat-in and collection at 22 King William Walk, Greenwich SE10. Pie and mash shop since 1890, in the same family for five generations.
