Twenty-five pizzas, each in a nine-inch or a twelve-inch, and the names swing between straight Italian and something stranger. Prosciutto, Prosciutto Funghi, Pollo, Romana, Milano and Ananas sit next to a Dracula, a CIA Special, an Orient and a Kiev, and if none of those appeal there is a Free Choice you build yourself. Fried chicken is the other half of the business, sold in one, two, three or five pieces, with or without chips. The side orders lean Middle Eastern in places, with falafel, a tub of hummus, pitta bread plain or with chips, and a mint and yoghurt sauce among the dips. What really sets it apart is the drinks list: this is a takeaway with an off-licence attached, stocking Budweiser, Stella and Tyskie by the single can or in fours and sixes, red, white and rosé wine, and bottles of vodka and whiskey. Puddings are old-school — rumbaba and a chocolate eclair.
