Bengali cooking sits underneath everything here, most visibly in a donner kebab section that has been reworked rather than borrowed — naga, shatkora and Indian-style spiced versions sit next to chicken and lamb tikka donner. The chef's speciality grid is enormous and labelled by strength, running from mild treatments like rezala, zafrani and mango delight through spicy sathkora and cinnamon-and-fenugreek to a naga special marked very hot. Fish gets more attention than usual, cooked off the bone in goan machli, palak machli and rai machli, with a seafood starter list covering bhuna king prawn on puree, fish bora and spicy fish pakora. The signature dishes reward reading closely: lamb with apricot, saffron almond and lamb, chingri jhool, keema mattar and special kaliya. Thalis, tikka rolls and eleven biryanis including raja and sultani complete a menu that pays off well beyond the traditional curry column.
