About Ottolenghi Hampstead
Ottolenghi at 32-34 Rosslyn Hill in Hampstead NW3 is one of Yotam Ottolenghi's iconic deli-cafés, described by Hardens as a place where you will "want to lick the plate." Ottolenghi opened his first deli in Notting Hill in 2002, and the formula has influenced how London eats more than almost any other single restaurant concept: Middle Eastern-inspired food full of vegetables, legumes, herbs and spices, beautifully presented. Hardens notes: "tasty, healthy and yummy dishes that are beautifully flavoured" with particularly "wonderful cakes." Ottolenghi has also spawned a series of bestselling cookbooks that have changed domestic cooking internationally. The Hampstead branch occupies a Grade II-listed former pub on the hill leading down from Hampstead village.
