Antep Durum on Sterling Way in Upper Edmonton N18 is a Turkish Halal restaurant named for Gaziantep, the Turkish city in the south-east of the country celebrated as the culinary capital of the nation — where baklava was invented, where the Adana kebab originates, where pide baking is a centuries-old craft. It stands out among Edmonton's Turkish restaurants for one specific reason: it seasons its bread, producing a basket of flavoured flatbread that reviewers consistently praise when comparing it to the "boring dry bread" of other restaurants.
