Mehfil is a popular Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant and takeaway at 25 The Broadway on Southgate Circus, the current occupant of a prime position directly beside Southgate tube station. Rated 4.6 stars from 109 Google reviews, listed by AllInLondon and TripAdvisor, it has quickly become a favourite for locals who appreciate its authentic, halal-certified cooking. The restaurant's mission is to bring traditional Indian and Bangladeshi dishes to Southgate using professional chefs from various regions of the Indian subcontinent. A diner who visited for a date night in 2022 wrote: "Extremely impressed by the food and outstanding service -- the staff guided us to the best dishes and the lamb was so tender it just melts in your mouth -- this will definitely be my go to Indian."
