About London
North Finchley is in the Borough of Barnet. It is mostly a residential and shopping area with several supermarkets but also has a number of restaurants. There is a local community arts centre and gallery (The Artsdepot), an established theatre since 2004. The old Gaumont cinema has been demolished and replaced by an open air market. Spice Girl Emma Bunton grew up around here.
