Almost every section here is named after a sauce or a single ingredient rather than a dish — Black Bean Sauce Dishes, Cashew Nuts, Mushrooms, Pineapple, Tomatoes, Kung Po Style, Szechuan Style — and the same proteins run across each one, so ordering is really a matter of picking a meat and then a treatment. Duck is a full member of that grid rather than a novelty, turning up in black bean, satay, Kung Po, Szechuan and cashew nut versions, plus roast duck vermicelli and udon. Rice and chow mein are each offered two ways, in Cantonese style or dry, which doubles those sections. The appetiser list is the longest of the lot, running from wings in syrup, Peking sauce or salt and pepper through crispy squid with salt, pepper and chilli, cheese parcels, crispy seaweed and quarter or half crispy duck. Two English dishes, chicken breast with gravy and sausage with gravy, sit at the far end for anyone not eating Chinese.
