Gurkha Bar and Restaurant is the Honest Toun's first Nepalese restaurant, and it has made its mark. At the 2026 Scottish Curry Awards the kitchen won Curry Restaurant of the Year for the South East region — a genuine national-level recognition for a Musselburgh dining room led by director Harka Karki. The menu blends authentic Nepalese dishes with Indian favourites: momo dumplings, Nepalese-spiced lamb, thukpa noodle broth alongside familiar tikkas and baltis.
