Wok Inn

Wok Inn — also appearing in online directories as Wok 2000 — is a Chinese takeaway on Bruntsfield Place, serving the busy residential and student corridor between Tollcross and Holy Corner. The menu covers the standard Cantonese-British range of chow mein, fried rice, noodle dishes, curry dishes and set meals. Delivery covers the immediate EH10 catchment online, and the shop also takes direct phone orders. Bruntsfield Place is Edinburgh's most consistently active independent restaurant strip south of the centre, drawing evening trade from King's Theatre audiences and local residents in roughly equal measure. This block of the strip, in the shadow of Holy Corner's four churches, has been home to food businesses of various kinds for many years.
